Using make up as a cover up or a mask is a common misconception for many women when buying make up. In all reality, make up should never be used to cover or hide your face. Instead, it should be used to highlight and accentuate a woman’s natural features. Natural looking, healthy hair is at the top of the list. Whether your hair is long, short, thin, or thick, you always want it to look and be healthy. Even when it comes to coloring and dying your hair at home, L’Oreal is a great way to go. L’Oreal, as well as other brands have created dyes and colors that don’t contain ammonia, which plays a great role in hair killing. Be sure to stay away from products containing ammonia and when it comes down to it, try to avoid using extreme heat on your hair.
Nails and nail polish aren’t normally the first things that come to mind when you think of natural beauty. However, there are nail polishes and nail polish removers that are better for your nails than others. OPI, for example, in 2006 eliminated the DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde from their polishes and treatments. Mascara is pretty simple and there are all sorts of colors, it just depends on which you prefer. Brands such as, Revlon and Almay provide a lash-growing mascara that contains nutrient and vitamins that make your eyelashes grow long and beautiful. Eye make up can get kind of crazy, so you just have to keep in mind that you are only trying to accent your, already, beautiful eyes.
